You
are cordially invited to submit your entries to the ninth annual
Reel Teens Film/Video Festival, which will be held Friday, Saturday, Sunday, October 9, 10, 11, 2009.
Deadline
for submission is June 30, 2009.
There is no entry fee.
The film or video entered must be made by a teenager.
Submissions can be up to 20 minutes in length.
Submissions
may be entered in any of nine (9) categories: Fiction, Short
Fiction (10 minutes or less), Documentary, Short
Documentary (10 minutes or less ), Video Diary, Animation,
Visual Arts, Music Video and Public Service Announcement (PSA).
A
panel of entertainment industry judges will award trophies and cash
prizes for the best in each of the nine (9) categories. The audience
will vote for their favorite entry and award an audience award each
day of the festival.
Entries must be submitted on DVD only.
Submissions in languages other than English must be subtitled in english.
A
festival application should accompany each submission.
Due to the large number of submissions received, only the finalists will be notified as to screening times at the festival. All finalists are eligible for prizes.
Entrants
agree to allow Reel Teens to duplicate and screen their submissions
for publicity of the festival and use in screening at Reel Teens
special events, including but not limited to streaming them on the web.

Submissions
will be returned to you only if a self addressed, postage paid mailer is supplied with each entry. Please include any
publicity photos you have, hard copy only.
